# Ann Arbor Staple Zingerman’s Delicatessen is Committed to Menstrual Equity

## Ann Arbor made big news in November 2021 when it became the [first city in the US](/content/blog/ann-arbor-is-the-first-u-s-city-to-require-free-pads-and-tampons-in-public-restrooms/index.html) to require free period products in all public bathrooms.

Once legislation passed, [Zingerman’s Delicatessen](https://www.zingermansdeli.com/) became one of the first Ann Arbor businesses to [partner with Aunt Flow](https://www.facebook.com/100027457736662/posts/5167504006595895/) and offer period products free to all customers.

### Hi! I’m Claire. I founded Aunt Flow after getting my period in public without the supplies needed.

At 18 years old, I dedicated my life to developing a solution to ensure businesses and schools could sustainably provide quality period products, for free, in bathrooms. Our products are made with organic cotton and we are constantly working to reduce our environmental impact! Since 2021, we've donated MILLIONS of period products to menstruators in need.
