With the help of incredible global, national and regional organizations, we’ve been able to provide 6 million freely accessible Aunt Flow period products all over the world since 2021!
By the Numbers
This year, Aunt Flow…
- Donated over 2,628,600 products to menstruators in need
- Stocked bathrooms with over 29,000,000 organic cotton period products
- Added over 20,300 new dispensers in businesses, schools and organizations

2023 USA Period Policy Wins
2023 was a year FULL of menstrual equity, with advocates and legislature making waves across #MenstruationNation!
Legislative Successes of 2023
- California: The state expanded its existing school requirement to provide free period products to students in grades 3-12.
- El Paso, TX: El Paso City Council unanimously voted on a program to require all city-owned buildings to provide free pads and tampons.
- Houston, TX: As part of the Fiscal Year 2024 budget, Houston City Council will provide free period products in more than 30 city-run buildings.
- Minnesota: The Minnesota Senate and House of Representatives passed a bill requiring schools to provide free period products to students in grades 4-12.
- Missouri: Thanks to new state funding, each school district in Missouri will receive at least $500 to provide free period products to students in grades 6-12.
- New Jersey: A1349/S1221 establishes a funded program in the Department of Education to provide period products in public schools, free of cost.
- New Mexico: Governor Michelle Lujan Grisham signed HB 134, which requires free period products in every public school, from elementary schools to high schools.
- Ohio: The state’s fiscal budget designated $5 million in funding for period products and dispensers for the 2024-2025 school year.
- Texas: Governor Greg Abbott signed Senate Bill 379 on June 18, prompting Texas to join the growing list of states that have removed the tampon tax.
